The Kentuckiana Association of Musicians and Singers is a 501c3 organization offering services to the public, in order to make learning and practicing music more widely accessible. They needed a way to spread awareness of their offerings to the local public, so I volunteered to film and produce a PSA video highlighting their most popular services.

We will do whatever it takes to make it possible for everyone to enjoy music, regardless of their financial circumstances.”

I began with a storyboard and shot list, then used stock footage to assemble a draft of the planned video. This helped get the concept across to my contact person within the organization: KAMS founder, Owen Heritage. After writing and editing a script, with the help of Owen, I filmed a day of music lessons and the speaker. What came of the shots was a video that captured the personality and feel of the teachers, students, and organization as a whole.
