I created a new logo and branding package for a catering startup based in Jacksonville, Florida. We discussed the target audience and what types of events they would cater to determine what style would be the most effective in reaching the desired group; should the logo be sleek? Fun? Elegant? They needed something versatile that could be used not only as the face for their online presence, but also on stationary, food packaging, and t-shirts.

We eventually came to the conclusion that the logo should be playful enough to draw attention, but the client needed it to be able to grow with the company. To accommodate this, I included a script logotype that could easily be used on its own for more formal purposes without straying from the branding that will have already been established at that point.

Additionally, the client needed business cards with the new logo to hand out to potentials customers. I presented them with four options featuring the new logo that are sure to be eye-catching and memorable. I created a style guide for Tastee’s branding package featuring all the design elements included thus far.
