I’ve been a tech nerd for as long as I’ve been able to spell. Most kids woke up on Saturdays and watched cartoons – I woke up eager to start working on slideshow presentations. Different is a good thing, isn’t it?

My first experience with coding started in middle school with a simple Google search, “how to make a website”. I settled on a tutorial that held my hand with HTML in Windows Notepad. In the end I had an entirely purple page with a mismatched socks clip art, titled “Brooke’s Website” (2010 was a simpler time). Since then my tastes have changed but my excitement to learn and grow in the field has not.

I am currently an ambitious undergraduate student working towards a Computer Graphics Technology degree, majoring in Web Programming and Design. In my free time I hone my design skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, or work on coding projects to improve my fluency in programming languages. My goal is to continuously enhance both my design and programming skills to fulfill my creative and innovative ideas.
